Coach Jeff Ruffin’s arena is unlike that of any other sport. Loud cheering is discouraged at times, but fans make up for the excitement when a player sinks an unexpected putt. At St. George’s, we have a distinct legacy of excellence in golf and tenured coaches, a lot in part to Coach Ruffin.  Coach Ruffin’s coaching philosophy is to value each student-athlete and his development within the larger picture of developing a team. As coaches, it’;s our job to put players in the best position we can for them to succeed on the court, field, and in their future endeavors. An emphasis should be placed on hard work, a sense of responsibility, teamwork, character and focus.
