About Cross Country - V

Coach Emma Dixon

You may think of cross-country as an individual sport, but with our cross-country program that’s not necessarily the case. Coach Emma Dixon is all about teamwork. She believes that anyone can be a runner with consistent determination and encouragement from teammates.

Thanks to Coach Dixon’s positive attitude and reinforcement, she has inspired many runners to continue their sport through middle, high school and college. Coach Dixon’s coaching philosophy is to provide a challenging but fun team athletic experience where student-athletes can reach individual goals in competitive distance running. My vision is to have a family atmosphere where we care for one another and push each other to be the best we can be as runners, but also as people. My hope is that this creates a foundation for lifelong fitness.
