About Water Polo - V


Wil Barton- Varsity Head Coach

Wil grew up as a student here at St. George's and was a member of the swim team and the school's first water polo team that won a state championship in 2014. From here, he continued his academic and collegiate swim career at Birmingham Southern College, where he was an all-conference swimmer, helped the Panthers to multiple SAA championships, and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships. Recently, Wil was inducted into the Birmingham Southern College Athletic Hall of Fame.

"I am thrilled to have accepted the head coaching position for water polo at St. George's. As a 2014 graduate of St. George's and water polo player, I am excited to get back on campus and get this team ready for the season! Go Gryphons!"
