Jon Mungle - Varsity Head Coach

Coach Mungle attended middle school and high school at Houston. After graduating from Houston High School, he continued his academic and athletic career at Mississippi State University and then eventually was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers. After his professional career concluded, Coach Mungle moved back to Memphis and served as an Assistant Varsity Coach at St. George’s and Varsity Head Coach at Marshall Academy. Coach Mungle has most recently served as Director of Baseball, Coach of two nationally ranked teams and Hitting Instructor with EBC.  “I am very excited to be named the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at St. George’s Independent School. As a former student here years and years ago, I am a product of and believe in the St. George’s mission. I’m looking forward to working very hard to achieve our goals of winning games including a state championship with our players.”
