About Track & Field - V

Coach Stooksbury

Coach David Stooksbury’s 25 years of coaching experience has helped his teams set not only regional records but personal records. He works with individual athletes to grow personally and statistically, which then benefits his entire track team as a whole. Coach Stooksbury joined St. George’s in 2018 as the varsity head track and field coach, assistant athletic director for admissions, and coordinator for varsity football. He has nearly 25 years combined experience coaching track and football.

Coach Stooksbury’s coaching philosophy is to work toward the development of young men and women to be the best version of themselves. I also let them see how individual hard work and commitment benefits the team as a whole.
