Andrew Atkins - Varsity Head Coach

Andrew Atkins strengthened his career with St. George’s football as the varsity defensive coordinator and assistant athletic director. He now serves as the Head Coach with a team full of potential. With Coach Atkins’s defensive mindset and positive attitude, he’s prepared to guide his players toward victory. He knows winning games requires the whole team to work as a unit, and he emphasizes this in his coaching style. His lessons on the field better his players in both their athletic careers and personal development.  Coach Atkins believes football is more than a sport; it plays a pivotal role in shaping young men and guiding them toward making meaningful contributions to society. To achieve this goal, his team focuses on the core values of Integrity, Discipline, and Relentlessness. These values serve as the benchmark for evaluating both student-athletes and coaches, prioritizing character over the scoreboard. He feels it is essential for his staff to embody these principles, setting a powerful example for student-athletes to follow. Embracing these values not only fosters personal growth but also sets the stage for competitive success. Indeed, when our program is rooted in these fundamental beliefs—Integrity, Discipline, and Relentlessness—victories on the field naturally follow.
